This mark comes from a "fuchi", a sword ferrule in the shape of a cap or ring, and was made by Tomihisa. Tomihisa worked as a "soukenkinkou" in the Nara line of the Tobari house. Soukenkinkou is the Japanese name for metalworkers who design accessories for bladed weapons.
