Many patterns include the word Teardrop in their designations but none is called simply Teardrop, hence the appellation above. Tankards in size from tiny individual creamers to water pitchers 13" high were popular during the 1895-1910 era, mostly for use on water tray with six tumblers, taking much less space than the traditional jugs. Manufacturer and date have yet to be determined.
